Spicy apple sauce, how to make spicy apple sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of apple juice
  • ¼ cup apple puree
  • ¼ cup water
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp crushed chilli
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 2 tbsp corn flour slurry (1 tbsp corn flour+ 2 tbsp water)

Method

  • Take a sauce pan. Add apple juice, apple puree, water, sriracha sauce, garlic, chilli, salt &  pepper.
  • Bring this mixture to a boil.
  • Boil it for 3-4 minutes over medium to high flame.
  • Add lemon juice and mix it well.
  • Continuously stir it and add corn flour slurry.
  • Mix it well. Until it gets thick like a sauce.
  • Ready to serve with fried chicken.
  • Store this sauce in the air tight container for up to 1 week in the fridge.
