Vanilla Syrup, how to make vanilla syrup


Ingredients
  • ·        1 cup water
  • ·        2/3 cup sugar
  • ·        1/3 cup brown sugar
  • ·        Pinch of salt
  • ·        2 tbsp vanilla extract.

Method
  • ·        Take a heavy bottomed sauce pan. Add water, sugar, brown sugar and pinch of salt.
  • ·        Bring it to a boil over medium high heat for 10 minutes or until the consistency is like the syrup.
  • ·        Boil it for more 5 minutes on low flame to taste actually vanilla syrup.
  • ·        Now let the syrup cool down completely.
  • ·        Add vanilla extract mix until combine well.
  • ·        Store this syrup in the air tight container for up to month in the fridge.

Notes
  • ·        Use vanilla paste or powder, instead of vanilla extract.
  • ·        Use whole part of white sugar instead a brown sugar but brown sugar gives the syrup more beautiful color and it also taste richer so I suggest to use both the sugar.
